One family Medicare Rights helped during this time was distraught when they received a notice saying that their benefits––which help people with low incomes pay for Medicare––were suddenly ending, even though the couple still qualified. Mr. and Mrs. Quader called Medicare Rights’ helpline for assistance, anxious about how they would manage their health conditions if they lost their Medicare coverage.
